Jesse's Story

Jesse Yaw is a Ghanaian intellectual, writer, poet, international investor, and a distinguished political and economic theorist. Born in the United Kingdom, his heritage is deeply woven into the fabric of the Royal Ashanti tribe of the Akan people, and he regularly travels back to his motherland, Ghana.

A conscientious writer and profound voice, Jesse is a passionate advocate for racial equality, social reform, and global justice. His work boldly challenges us to reconsider the very foundations of human identity and resilience in an increasingly complex world.

Having spent many years in the corporate finance world and being educated in the UK, Jesse has gained firsthand experience of the perils of racism, assimilation, and their crippling impact on Black potential. This experience fuels his dedication to unraveling the psychology behind racism and exposing the power of manipulation upon the human mind and its conditioning.

Through his acclaimed and best-selling debut novel, The Deconstruction of Humanity’s Voice, But We Are Still Standing (released November 2022), Jesse explores contemporary and historical political and psychological issues, particularly in relation to identity and stereotypes. His book has received international recognition and is catalogued in prestigious institutions like the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture in New York City and the Black Cultural Archives in London. He is renowned as a post-structuralist theorist.

Jesse acknowledges that the re-education of the mind is central to the true emancipation of African descendants. As a leading international philanthropist, he leverages his resources and academic rigor to challenge ideologies that have stifled the economic, political, and cultural trajectories of the African diaspora, driving positive transformative change globally. He believes that for too long, negative perceptions have cast a dark shadow upon Black lives and subdued Black potential, and his aim is to deconstruct the subconscious voice of the human mind to establish the unaltered truth of who we really are.
